John O'Keefe
"Path out of the Woods"

(Oil Painting #16)

This painting was actually a warm-up study (practice painting) for oil painting #15 - notice the same cloud pattern between oil painting #15 and this one. It had been a few weeks since I stopped work on oil painting #15 and this little piece served as a refresher to get me warmed up. I did not use the land features from the photo, rather, I created my own scene (trees and road) from imagination.

Wallingford's 'Open Space' project.
